Once upon a time, a writer and her self-employed husband lived in a great big house with lots of kids. Then the economy took a dive, and her husband’s business did the same. Once the kids grew up and moved out, the writer and her husband had to sell their big house and find somewhere more affordable to live. They moved three times in four years, giving up beloved possessions all along the way. Now they live in a modest little house that’s cozy and uncluttered…and they love it!
